I have always struggled retaining knowledge over the long run, mostly because once I had gotten finished with whatever I needed the skill for, I would then never use it until another reason came along. I started taking an online college algebra course, at the start of the 8-week course I got an eye surgery to correct my vision. I was behind a total of 3 weeks and had the week I was on so a total of 4 weeks’ worth of work in an 8-week class. I expressed my problem to Daniel, and he quickly started helping me. He made every effort to ensure I understood the material, rather than just giving me the answer. Throughout the course my knowledge of math increased so drastically that I was able to achieve a 100% on my final and pass the course. If I ever take another math class, I will use MakeMathEasier to enable myself to be successful.

When I was a factory worker in my mid 30’s I enrolled in college. I struggled in math all my life, fractions, y=x², it was all Chinese to me. If not for Daniel Byrd tutoring me for a month, one hour, five nights a week I’m confident I would have failed, but thanks to his teaching technique I passed with a B-.
